A Personal Commitment to Fashion

I’ve always dreamed of dressing responsibly, but finding the right options hasn’t been easy — and I know many women share this struggle. That’s what inspired me to create a brand rooted in strong values and a constant commitment to sustainable development in fashion.

WHAT WE DO

We are committed to making the best choices every day across the business to minimize our social and environmental negative impact.

We strive to be a company that contributes to sustainable development at all our touch points. We care about the raw material and processes that goes into producing the fabric we are using and we care about the seamstresses in the production and to prolong the lifetime of the garments. Below is our policies and criteria on main topics.

MANUFACTURING THE PERMANENT COLLECTION

The Tencel™ program is sewn by Lopes & Carvahlo, a family run company located in Braga, Portugal. We visit them regularly to continue the close collaboration. Read more about them and certificates here.

The program in recycled wool and the dress in Cupro is sewn by Fugeetex located in Stockholm Sweden. Read more about them and certificates here

HOW WE DO IT

ECOLOGICAL RESPONSIBILITY

Our core ecological value is DESIGN FOR CIRCULARITY—a commitment to creating, selling, and redesigning products and services that extend the lifecycle of raw materials.

Design for Circularity

To facilitate recycling, we prioritize simplicity in our design process. Garments made from a single type of fiber are significantly easier to recycle than those containing blended materials, such as cotton and polyester, which are challenging to separate. We also minimize the use of non-essential applications like zippers and buttons, which complicate recycling processes. Additionally, we aim to avoid printed fabrics, as they contribute heavily to pollution.

Fabrics & Ethical Material Sourcing

Transparency throughout the supply chain has been a cornerstone of our operations since the beginning. We never compromise on the quality or origin of our raw materials, which are always eco-friendly or organically grown. Our focus on fabric selection and production processes reflects the significant environmental impact these choices carry.

One key material in our permanent collection is Lenzing TENCEL™ Lyocell, a cellulosic fiber derived from botanical origins. Known for its long-lasting softness and breathability, TENCEL™ Lyocell is produced in a closed-loop system that ensures efficient control of both production and waste. Learn more about this sustainable fiber here.

We are obsessed with sourcing the best fabrics we possibly can. Below is the list of all fabrics we currently use. We do not work with any furs.

  • TENCEL™ Lyocell. TENCEL™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG. Read more here
  • Recycled wool mix from a GRS (global recycling standard) certified partner. Read more here.
  • Deadstock fabrics that we source and find in small batches. The Cupro is one example where we found this really nice fabric that was leftover from other production in Europe.

Reducing Environmental Impact

Research highlights that three activities in the supply chain—wet treatments (e.g., dyeing and finishing), fiber production, and garment confectioning—contribute to 55.4% of the negative climate impact in Swedish clothing consumption (Sandin et al., 2019, Mistra Future Fashion). We address these areas through mindful material selection, ethical production methods, and innovative design strategies.

Our journey toward sustainability is ongoing, and we remain committed to reducing our ecological footprint while creating high-quality, responsibly made fashion.

Textile treatments & chemicals

We do not design garments that needs sandblasting or any other harmful work methods in production and/or finishing.

Phthalates or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are not accepted.

When dying our garments, we only use certified products.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

At the heart of our values is a simple yet profound principle: WE ARE PEOPLE. This embodies our commitment to treating all individuals—our team members, partners, and future generations—with dignity and respect.

We have a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of child labor throughout our supply chain. This includes every stage, from the farmers cultivating the wood used to produce cellulose to the manufacturing partners sewing and finishing our garments. Any violation of this policy results in the immediate termination of the partnership.

When auditing our partners, we conduct comprehensive evaluations of working conditions. This includes reviewing work hours, general and individual workspaces, wages, adherence to collective agreements, production processes, and safety measures. We hold our partners to the highest standards, ensuring their facilities and work environments comply with rigorous benchmarks.

We also recognize the importance of societal contributions. Positive engagement in the local community is not only encouraged but viewed as a vital aspect of a responsible partnership.

Our assessments are thorough, relying on physical audits and direct interviews to ensure alignment with our core values and ethical commitments.
